THE IRAQ POWER TEAM
The Iraq Power Team operates as a Joint Venture (JV) between Salihi Group International (SGI) of Kirkuk, Iraq and Wintara, Inc. of Washington, D.C., USA who are teamed with a select group of companies with experience in the water, power, oil, gas, and communications industries to offer a unique package of Rapid Response Services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Republic of Iraq.
The Iraq Power Team provides the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Iraq Ministry of Electricity with a highly mobile, engineering Rapid Response Force to repair and overhaul utility systems, country-wide. The team consists of approximately 1,000 self-sufficient personnel with vehicles and equipment capable of independent operations in remote, high threat environments. The team provides light, medium and heavy repair capability where critical Utilities such as Electricity and Water engineering and maintenance services are required.
The unit is structured with the following four packages:
Engineering Services, Force Protection Services, Life Support Services and Training Services.
